*I wanna thank Disney-Hyperion and NetGalley for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. This doesn't effect in any way on my opinion on book*

Click'd is a book about Allie,a girl who finds her inspiration and delight in coding! Yes,you read that right. This is a book about a girl who likes to code. And I'm so grateful that Tamara Ireland Stone wrote this book for all the girls who find their joy in numbers.

Allie Navarro can't wait to show her best friends the app she built at CodeGirls summer camp. CLICK'D pairs users based on common interests and sends them on a fun (and occasionally rule-breaking) scavenger hunt to find each other. And it's a hit. By the second day of school, everyone is talking about CLICK'D.

Watching her app go viral is amazing. Leaderboards are filling up! Everyone's making new friends. And with all the data Allie is collecting, she has an even better shot at beating her archenemy, Nathan, at the upcoming youth coding competition. But when Allie discovers a glitch that threatens to expose everyone's secrets, she has to figure out how to make things right, even if that means sharing the computer lab with Nathan. Can Allie fix her app, stop it from doing any more damage, and win back the friends it hurt-all before she steps on stage to present CLICK'D to the judges?(source:goodreads)

I really enjoyed reading this book. It has friendship, maybe some crushes, and the most important thing - it has coding! It's really important to encourage girls these days that it's not shame to love science so this book has a really important message.
But,beside the message, which I loved,I also loved Allie's teacher who gave Allie all the support she could and sometimes support is all you need.
I loved moral aspect of the story too. When Allie's program makes a glitch (you'll se which one if you read the book ;)) she will have a choice and I'm really proud of Allie making the right choice.
Besides writting style, characters were really good written too. All the girls felt just like girls should do,and Nathan is an amazing character that shows that sometimes our enemy can become our best friend. And I really liked that aspect of the story.
The only thing I didn't like, and the reason for 4 star rating,is Allie.
Sometimes she would get kinda annoying but I guess the problem was me being too old for this book. But I'm sure that all girls will love this book!
Even though I found Allie annoying,it's important to tell that she still was amazing. She created an app that was kinda like facebook, but it rather was like facebook + scavanger hunt and Allie made a difference. She made her whole school make friends,to pay attention to each other,to make connections. And that was a big change for which Allie was responsible. And every girl should look up to her.
So overall,I think Click'd is an amazing book that shows that girl can do coding and be amazing and awesome and that there is no shame in loving it. It spreads the important and power message so what are you waiting for? Go and read it and enjoy a little feminism in this cute book!

Rating: 4🐞
