The 5th wave

What would you do if you suddenly lost everything? Everyone? Would you be ready for the 5th wave?

Even though you can see what will happen next, this book will give you a lot of excitement and andrenalin. So this should be spoiler free review,so I cannot talk about some significant things (and I want to,soooo bad),but I can say that romance in this book is not boring, and believe me when I say it because I am not into romance books (I know it's hard to believe me,considering my review for Me before you),but romance here is minimal, fluffy and just beautiful.

“I didn't save you," he whispers, lips tickling my eyelashes. "You saved me.”
After the 1st wave, only darkness remains. After the 2nd, only the lucky escape. And after the 3rd, only the unlucky survive. After the 4th wave, only one rule applies: trust no one.

Now, it's the dawn of the 5th wave, and on a lonely stretch of highway, Cassie runs from Them. The beings who only look human, who roam the countryside killing anyone they see. Who have scattered Earth's last survivors. To stay alone is to stay alive, Cassie believes, until she meets Evan Walker. Beguiling and mysterious, Evan Walker may be Cassie's only hope for rescuing her brother-or even saving herself. But Cassie must choose: between trust and despair, between defiance and surrender, between life and death. To give up or to get up.(source: Goodreads)

"How do you rid the Earth of humans? Rid the humans of their humanity."

About characters, they are wonderfully realistic and characterization is on high level. Book is also very realistic, considering that book is Sci-fi. Cassie is just a typical teenage gir who is in love with a guy who doesn't even see her and who gives very important promise. What happens on way is pure action  and magic. Bravo,Rick Yancey!

"To hold on, you have to find something you're willing to die for."

Most of my atention caught the Others, normally, and everything that leads to apocalypse and I think that's the best part of the book (except Evan). Anyway,I'm planning to continue with this series,as soon as possible.

“We’re here, and then we’re gone, and it’s not about the time we’re here, but what we do with the time.”

And to you,I highly recommend that you start this book now,you will not regret it,I am sure you'll not!
