*I wanna thank Random House Children's,the author and NetGalley for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. This doesn't effect in any way on my opinion on book*

Odd one out is a book about love. it's about friendship. It's about finding yourself. It's about being loved. It's about being odd one out.

Courtney "Coop" CooperDumped. Again. And normally I wouldn't mind. But right now, my best friend and source of solace, Jupiter Sanchez, is ignoring me to text some girl.
Rae Evelyn ChinI assumed "new girl" would be synonymous with "pariah," but Jupiter and Courtney make me feel like I'm right where I belong. I also want to kiss him. And her. Which is . . . perplexing.
Jupiter Charity-SanchezThe only thing worse than losing the girl you love to a boy is losing her to your boy. That means losing him, too. I have to make a move. . . .
One story.Three sides.No easy answers.(source goodreads.com)

I loved this book so much! It was really different from Dear Martin but it was amazing!
I loved the writting style so much. It was so intense and I enjoyed every second of it.
The story itself was magnificient. I'm not a LGBTQ+ person, but I know how hard it can be for them and this book is so important because it talks about things that matters. Yes,it does have a love triangle, and even though I don't like that trope,I didn't mind it. Because that triangle had a point. It showed that young people need time to find themselves. But they also need a friend who will be with them in that process. This is amazing book that shows us that being yourself is important, but even more important is to have a support by your friends and family.

Regarding the characters in this book,I had the feeling like they were real, which is always a good thing. They had the depth and more importantly, each of the characters had their own voice.
This book is written from three points of view, but each of them was unique.
I liked all the characters, but I loved Cooper the most. He was so gentle, and honest, and nice, and a true friend. I loved how he treated Jupiter, and his relationship with her was to die for. Their friendship is so amazing, and so honest. I think everyone need a friend like Cooper.
Jupiter's struggle is so hard but I'm glad that author wrote about this. I'm sure it will help many teenagers to finaly find themselves.
But in other case,I didn't love Rae's character that much. She is smart, and good person, but totally lost. Which is fine, but I just think she didn't fit in Jupiter-Cooper universe. But she is an important character and this book wouldn't be the same without her.
Also,I wish we saw more of Jupiter's and Cooper's family. They were so supportive and so so nice. I like when I see a good family rep,and this book is no exception.
And side character were good as well! Britain and Golly were such a good friends to all of them and they didn't care about labels, which is an amazing thing.

Anyway,if you want to read a book about love and friendship and what it means to be loved and to have a support in the same time, this is the book for you. It will make you laugh,it will make you cry,it will make you swoon.
If you want to read the book that will show you that you're not alone and that someonem, somewhere understands you, then I'm sure this book will blow your mind. This book is important. You are important. And don't let anyone say otherwise.
