Chaotic good is a book about not being afraid to be yourself. It's about being a geek girl and being accepted. It's about finding your passion and sticking to it.

When Cameron's family moves the summer before her senior year, she hopes to complete her costume portfolio in peace and quiet away from the abuse. Unfortunately, the only comic shop in town--her main destination for character reference--is staffed by a dudebro owner who challenges every woman who comes into the shop.

At her twin brother's suggestion, Cameron borrows a set of his clothes and uses her costuming expertise to waltz into the shop as Boy Cameron, where she's shocked at how easily she's accepted into the nerd inner sanctum. Soon, Cameron finds herself drafted into a D&D campaign alongside the jerky shop-owner Brody, friendly (almost flirtatiously so) clerk Wyatt, handsome Lincoln, and her bro Cooper, dragged along for good measure.

But as her "secret identity" gets more and more entrenched, Cameron's portfolio falls by the wayside--and her feelings for Lincoln threaten to make a complicated situation even more precarious.

I really enjoyed this book! It has amazing characters and it deals with such an important topics.
Being a girl in this world is tough. It's tough because girls,it seems like it,we'll never be equal with boys. And this book talk about that. It talks about how a girl can't be a geek.  How boys will mock you and humiliate you for being a dork. For being different. I proudly say that I am a geek girl myself, just like Cameron. I don't go to Comicons and I don't make costumes like Cam does, but I am a geek. And although I never had problems like she did,I understand why she had them. Sometimes,it's just really hard to be yourself and be different. Being a geek is not just for boys. And Cameron proves that right! I love that even though she tried to hide that, she stood up for herself in the end. And I'm glad her friends accepted her for who she is.

I wish people didn’t call them that. Trolls… They aren’t mythical creatures. You can’t look up how to defeat them in the Monster Manual. There are no critical hits, no saving rolls. They aren’t make-believe. They’re real. And they’re assholes.

I liked all of the characters, even Brody! He was really bad but at the end he redemeed himself and I think everyone deserve their second chance. And Why and Lincoln are also amazing characters! Lincoln is so kind and smart and caring and I'm just sad we didn't see even more of him. And Why and Cooper... I'm glad author included gay and Afro-American gay characters. It's important to understand that our race and our sexual orientation doesn't define us. And I'm glad this book exist.
It shows us that we can be different and still be accepted. That we can be imperfect and still be loved. That us girls can be strong. That being yourself is not a scary thing.

Chaotic good ones place a high value on free will: they always intend to do the right thing, even if their methods are haphazard and generally out of sync with the rest of society.

If you love good feminist books and books with amazing characters and good humor, then this is the right book for you! I enjoyed every second of it,and I'm just sad it wasn't longer! Maybe there will be a sequel? I really hope so! And I really loved a story within a story. I never played D&D but now I wanna. It sounds so fun and author did an amazing job with another story. This is THE book girls need to read in 2018 and I hope I'll have sequel in my arms soon!
